The PreSonus CDL10P is built for users who want the clarity and throw of a line array without the complexity and size of a traditional large-format system. Its hybrid design pairs a 10-inch low-frequency woofer with six 2-inch high-mid drivers to create coherent, controlled sound with a 120 by 15 degree coverage pattern. This makes it especially effective in rooms where even front-to-back coverage and vocal intelligibility are important.
With 1000W peak Class-D amplification and a low 420 Hz crossover point, the CDL10P is engineered for strong output and fast transient response while helping reduce comb filtering. The result is a loudspeaker that can deliver articulate speech, musical detail, and solid impact for a wide range of live performance and event applications. Its full-range design also makes it suitable for standalone use or as part of a larger system with compatible subwoofers.
Deployment flexibility is a major advantage of the PreSonus CDL10P. A dual-angle 35 mm pole socket supports use on a tripod or above a compatible subwoofer, while integrated pin-loaded rigging hardware allows flown arrays of up to six enclosures per side. Additional CDL10P cabinets can extend vertical coverage from 30 to 90 degrees, giving production teams and installers room to scale the system for different venues and audience sizes.
Onboard DSP helps simplify setup for common use cases. Available processing includes a 90 Hz high-pass filter, Array Mode for one to six boxes, and Sub Mode settings for compatible PreSonus subwoofers. Combined with balanced XLR input and output, powerCON connectivity, status LEDs, and a rugged polypropylene enclosure with steel grille, the CDL10P is ready for touring, installed audio, and portable event production.
