The FBT MUSE 218 SA is built for high-demand applications where powerful and controlled low-frequency output is critical. It features a direct-radiating design with dual B&C 18" drivers, each equipped with oversized 4" voice coils to handle high power and deliver ultra-low frequency extension. Its bass-reflex cabinet pushes substantial acoustic energy down to 30Hz with clarity and punch.
Equipped with a 4000W RMS Class D amplifier and onboard DSP, the MUSE 218 SA delivers a peak SPL of up to 148.5dB. Its DSP presets include cardioid settings, enabling systems with reversed subwoofers in an array to reduce rearward bass energy by more than 15dB—perfect for stages, arenas, or outdoor festivals where controlling bass spill is essential.
The enclosure is precision-engineered using 18mm birch plywood and optimized through BEM-type acoustic simulations to reduce duct resonance and turbulence. Its durable finish withstands the rigors of touring, while six integrated handles allow for safe and efficient handling. The reinforced steel grille with internal fabric offers added transducer protection, and the rear panel is pre-configured to accept optional swivel-mount caster wheels for added mobility.
