dBTechnologies SUB 918 Description

The dBTechnologies SUB 918 is built for applications where strong low-end extension and controlled bass performance are needed. Its single 18-inch premium woofer is housed in a bass-reflex plywood enclosure, giving DJs, bands, venues, and production companies a powerful subwoofer option with manageable weight.

The onboard Digipro G3 Class-D amplifier provides 900W RMS / 1800W peak output with efficient performance and high sound pressure capability. A 28/56-bit DSP processor handles system control, with peak, thermal, and RMS limiting for protection during demanding events.

RDNet connectivity enables real-time monitoring and remote control through Aurora Net software for Windows and Mac. Onboard controls include subwoofer attenuation, polarity, delay adjustment up to 4.5 ms in 0.5 ms steps, and selectable crossover frequencies from 70 Hz to 110 Hz.

The plywood cabinet includes two integrated handles and is designed for both vertical and horizontal use. Two M20 pole mounts, one on the top and one on the side, support flexible full-range speaker placement using a standard M20 threaded pole.
