PreSonus StudioLive AR12c Description
The PreSonus StudioLive AR12c combines classic analog mixing with modern digital recording tools, making it ideal for both live performance and studio production. Its eight high-headroom XMAX microphone preamps provide clean gain for vocals, instruments, and microphones, while balanced line inputs support keyboards, drum machines, and other line-level sources.
Integrated USB recording allows the AR12c to function as a 14x4, 24-bit / 96 kHz audio interface, enabling users to record every channel individually along with the main mix. This makes it a powerful solution for recording rehearsals, live shows, podcasts, or full band sessions.
The mixer includes a versatile Stereo Super Channel with Bluetooth wireless streaming, RCA inputs, and a 1/8-inch stereo input. This allows playback from mobile devices, computers, or other audio sources without occupying standard input channels.
An onboard digital effects processor provides 16 presets including reverbs, delays, and modulation effects. With dedicated send and return controls, users can add polished monitor mixes and capture effects in recordings or adjust them later during post-production.
For standalone recording, the AR12c features a built-in stereo SD recorder capable of recording the main mix directly to SD or SDHC cards. The mixer also integrates seamlessly with Capture live-recording software and includes a perpetual license for Fender Studio Pro DAW, providing a complete recording and production solution.
