Rane Performer Description
The Rane Performer is designed for DJs who want the feel of turntables with the control depth of a modern performance controller. Its pair of 7-inch motorized platters feature high-torque response, die-cast aluminum construction, and acrylic discs, giving scratch DJs and club performers a familiar vinyl-style surface for cuts, backspins, pitch adjustments, and hands-on deck control.
At the center of the mixer section, the MAG FOUR crossfader delivers RANE’s light and smooth scratch-ready feel with an external tension adjustment knob, curve control, and reverse control. Each of the four channel faders uses PRECISION FEEL FADER technology, giving DJs a durable, smooth-travel fader system for everything from fast cuts to long blends.
The Performer also puts modern remix tools directly on the hardware. Advanced stems controls let DJs isolate, balance, cut, mute, and reshape vocal and instrumental elements in real time, while the 16 multi-color performance pads provide access to cues, loops, samples, stems modes, and other performance functions. OLED displays above the pad banks make it easier to track active modes and parameters without losing focus during a set.
For creative mixing, the internal FX engine includes 29 main FX along with 4 knob-controlled Channel FX for each side of the mixer. DJs can use internal effects independently or combine them with Serato DJ Pro FX for layered transitions, build-ups, and performance routines. The 3.5-inch color wheel displays add clear visual feedback directly inside each platter, showing moving waveforms, deck information, artwork, and library views.
