The Akai MPC Key 37 G2 merges expressive keyboard performance with the speed and workflow that made MPC systems an industry standard. Inspired by the classic cream-colored MPC units of the late 1980s, it combines vintage styling with modern standalone production technology for today's creators.
Powered by MPC3 OS and an advanced eight-core processor, MPC Key 37 G2 provides significantly increased performance for larger projects, faster load times, up to 16 stereo audio tracks, and support for up to 32 plugin instruments. The result is a production environment capable of handling complete songs entirely within the hardware.
The 37-key synth-action keyboard with aftertouch allows expressive melodic performance, while the 16 RGB-backlit MPC pads provide the familiar workflow for finger drumming, sample triggering, sequencing, and live performance.
