Standalone Music Production Center
Akai MPC One G2 is a next-generation standalone music production center designed for beatmakers, producers, and hardware-focused creators. Powered by MPC3 OS and a G2 eight-core processor, it delivers the classic MPC workflow with modern speed, expanded audio tracks, deeper plugin capability, and compact desktop convenience.
Akai MPC One G2 Competitive Differences
- G2 eight-core processor with four times the performance of the previous generation
- MPC3 OS with track-based workflow, Linear Arranger, and standalone song creation
Akai MPC One G2 Description
The Akai MPC One G2 blends classic MPC sampling and sequencing with modern standalone production power. Inspired by the blue colorways of the MPC1000 and MPC4000, it delivers a compact hands-on workstation for chopping samples, building beats, sequencing instruments, and arranging full tracks without needing a computer.
With MPC3 OS, producers gain a modern track-based workflow and Linear Arranger for more intuitive song building directly from the hardware. The upgraded G2 eight-core processor and 4 GB of RAM support larger projects, faster load times, up to 16 stereo audio tracks, and up to 32 plugin instruments for more layered productions.
Legendary velocity- and pressure-sensitive MPC pads provide expressive finger drumming and precise sample triggering, while four touch-sensitive Q-Link knobs give fast control over parameters. The 7-inch full-color touchscreen keeps editing, arranging, and sound design fast and visual.
USB-C connectivity supports 24x24 audio streaming and expanded MIDI over a single cable, making MPC One G2 equally useful in standalone and hybrid DAW workflows. Built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MIDI I/O, CV/Gate outputs, SD card storage, and USB host connectivity make it a flexible production hub for modern studios and live setups.
