Ashly NEWR-5 Description

The Ashly NEWR-5 is purpose-built for installations requiring a flexible and secure wall-mounted control interface. With six LED-labeled programmable buttons and two up/down arrow keys with an LED display, it offers comprehensive control of NE-series devices, including preset scrolling, source selection, level adjustments, and logic outputs. Programming is handled via Ashly’s Protea NE Software across the network, simplifying configuration without needing physical access to each device. The NEWR-5 fits in standard wall boxes and includes a lockout input for external security key switches. Built with long-term reliability in mind, it’s hand-assembled in Webster, NY and includes a 5-year warranty. The unit communicates over a 100M Ethernet connection and is compatible with Ashly’s NE, nXe, nXp, Pema amplifiers, and DSP processors like the ne24.24M, ne4800, and ne8800. Its Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability ensures minimal wiring, making it a clean and cost-effective addition to any professional AV installation.
