The Electro-Voice EVID-S8.2B delivers full-range performance from an 8-inch low-frequency driver and 1-inch high-frequency transducer. Its 90° x 90° coverage pattern helps provide wide, uniform sound across commercial spaces, making it useful for distributed audio, background music, paging, and sound reinforcement applications.

With 90W continuous power handling, 360W peak power handling, and a calculated 110 dB maximum SPL, the EVID-S8.2B offers strong output for larger rooms or outdoor areas where higher performance is needed from a compact surface-mount speaker.

The speaker is engineered for reliable indoor and outdoor operation with an IP54-rated weatherized enclosure that helps resist sun, salt, and moisture. Its fire-rated ABS plastic cabinet and included mounting system simplify installation on walls or ceilings while maintaining a clean installed appearance.
