Pangolin DiscoScan 2.0 Lens Description

The DiscoScan 2.0 solves a major challenge in laser display: limited scanning angles. Most laser projectors max out around 50–60°, restricting how much area can be covered from a single location. The DiscoScan 2.0 lens removes this limitation by optically expanding the projection field, allowing beams to reach every corner of a room from a central point. This makes it perfect for overhead installations—such as mounting the laser projector above a dance floor, aiming straight down. The result is an umbrella of beams that strike all walls and surfaces in the venue, creating a dazzling, full-room laser canopy. It’s equally powerful for dome installations, planetariums, and architectural mapping projects requiring full hemispherical coverage. The DiscoScan 2.0 is compatible with a wide range of Pangolin and KVANT laser projectors, including Unity ELITE series (with proper bracket).
