This makes the unit especially effective on stereo mix buses, subgroups, and solo instruments where a smooth, cohesive response is more important than hard limiting. Attack and release controls allow users to dial in the right timing for the material, while the output level control makes it easy to match gain after compression.
The signal path uses three transformers and four triode tubes per channel to add harmonic richness, improved source presence, and a more refined tonal balance.
