Wharfedale Pro WLA-218BA-BK Description

The Wharfedale Pro WLA-218BA-BK is built to provide the low-frequency foundation for high-output WLA-210A system designs. Its bass-reflex enclosure uses two custom 18-inch Wharfedale Pro ferrite LF drivers with aluminum frames and 4-inch voice coils, producing deep, authoritative bass with strong headroom and controlled response.

Internal Class D amplification delivers 2000W continuous power and 4000W peak power, giving the subwoofer the output needed for demanding live sound, DJ, touring, venue, and installation applications. With a maximum SPL of 148dB at 1 meter in half space, the WLA-218BA-BK is designed for large-scale systems that require substantial low-frequency impact.

Onboard DSP provides 8 FIR presets, allowing fast access to tunings for different system configurations. Preset-dependent crossover operation supports integration with WLA-210A array elements, helping system designers and engineers achieve consistent bass performance across ground-stacked and mixed deployments.
